No estaba firmando Bryan Gil su mejor partido en Balaídos. El Celta le tenía bien atado y el de Barbate no encontraba los espacios para campar a sus anchas. Su primera mitad fue una de las más discretas que se le recuerda desde que viste de azulgrana. Pero cuando tienes el talento y la zurda del andaluz, basta con tocar una pelota para cambiar el guion del partido. Y eso es lo que sucedió en Vigo. La única ocasión que dispuso el jugador del Sevilla fue para dentro y acabó siendo determinante para puntuar y evitar la cuarta derrota consecutiva.
Se juntaron los dos futbolistas de más calidad en la acción del gol. Muto recibió un balón en la frontal, vio el desmarque de Bryan y le metió el balón por arriba a la espalda de la zaga gallega. El de Barbate llegó como un cañón y fusiló al primer toque a Rubén Blanco para escorar el balón al lado del poste. Un disparo que difícil de cazar en el aire y de los que suelen acabar en las nubes. Pero Bryan echó el cuerpo hacia delante y puso fuerte el empeine para firmar su tercer gol de la temporada.
El de Barbate volvió a ser decisivo en su vuelta al terreno de juego después de dos jornadas ausente por una pequeña rotura muscular. No necesitó ofrecer su mejor versión con balón, porque estuvo preciso en su única oportunidad, y dio un recital de compromiso y sacrificio a la hora de defender y parar las acometidas de Hugo Mallo por la banda derecha. Se habla mucho de las excelentes maneras de Bryan con la pelota, como no puede ser de otra manera, pero no se puede pasar por alto la capacidad que tiene para trabajar en las tareas menos vistosas.
En una Liga tan apretada, cada punto es oro y Bryan dio por bueno el empate en tierras gallegas: "Tras el gol de ellos, hemos dominado la primera parte y en la segunda parte nos hemos encontrado con el empate. A partir de ahí hemos sido un equipo sólido, no nos han creado ocasiones y nos llevamos un puntito de Balaídos. Siempre es bonito marcar, pero lo más importante es este empate que hemos conseguido porque veníamos de dos derrotas. Esta es la línea a seguir".
Bryan sigue subiendo escalones en este Eibar. No pudo marcar en sus 10 primeros encuentros como azulgrana, pero firmó un doblete el 3 de enero contra el Granada y ayer volvió a ver puerta. Tres goles en doce encuentros que le convierten en el segundo máximo realizador de la plantilla. Si a todo su repertorio futbolístico también es capaz de sumarle unas cifras goleadoras notables, el Eibar puede respirar aliviado con el mal de gol que le está golpeando este curso. Con Bryan enchufado, la vida es más sencilla.
