La familia del futbolista
Abdelhak Nouri, que estuvo casi tres años en coma tras desvanecerse durante un
partido, llevará al Ajax a un tribunal de arbitraje de la Real Federación
Neerlandesa de Fútbol al no haber llegado a un acuerdo con el club para
establecer el monto de la indemnización.
“Desafortunadamente no ha sido
posible establecer un esquema de compensación que haga justicia a esta
situación irreversible”, dijeron hoy en un comunicado conjunto el portavoz de
la familia, Khalid Kasem, y su abogado John Beer.
El Ajax reconoció hace dos
años y medio que el tratamiento recibido por Nouri cuando se desvaneció,
durante un amistoso el 8 de julio de 2021, no fue el adecuado debido a varios
errores, entre ellos el uso tardío de un desfibrilador para reanimarlo.
El club pidió perdón de forma
pública, evitando que el caso terminase en los tribunales. Desde entonces, la
familia esperó a que “las partes llegasen rápidamente a una solución”, dijeron
Kasem y Beer, algo que finalmente no ha sucedido.
Ambos pidieron “que se haga
justicia” con el joven jugador y aseguran que “ninguna cantidad puede compensar
la falta del “viejo” Abdelhak y su rota carrera futbolística”.
El Ajax ya era consciente de
que el caso podría terminar en un tribunal de arbitraje. “Hemos hablado con los
familiares y sus abogados, pero lamentablemente no lo hemos resuelto”, dijo
hace dos semanas el director general del Ajax, Edwin van der Sar, a la
televisión neerlandesa NOS.
Nouri, que recibe los cuidados
de la familia en su propia casa, despertó del coma el año pasado y, según dijo
su hermano mayor en un reportaje de televisión, a veces es capaz de comunicarse
con leves movimientos de cejas.
