El empate en ‘O Clássico’ hace
que el cuadro verdiblanco, líder, mantenga 4 puntos de ventaja ante ambos a
pesar de pinchar frente a Rio Ave
No hubo vencedor ni vencido en
‘O Clássico’, pero sí un equipo que agradeció el empate acontecido este viernes
entre Porto y Benfica (1-1) en Do Dragao. Fue el Sporting de Portugal, que
horas antes había empatado ante Rio Ave (1-1) y gracias al hecho de que ni
‘dragones’ ni ‘águilas’ fuesen capaces de lograr los tres puntos finalizará
esta 14ª jornada de la Primeira Liga manteniendo los 4 puntos de ventaja sobre
ambos desde su liderato.
En cuanto al encuentro en sí,
el español Alejandro Grimaldo fue el encargado de adelantar en el marcador a
los visitantes (17’), pero poco después empató para el Porto Medi Taremi,
asistido por ‘Tecatito’ Corona (25’).
Ya en la segunda mitad, el
Benfica pareció gozar de una marcha más que meter en la búsqueda del triunfo,
pero su falta de acierto ante la portería rival hizo que el 1-1 no se moviera
del marcador. Ni siquiera el hecho de disputar 20 minutos en superioridad
numérica por expulsión de Mehdi Taremi le valió a los de Jorge Jesus para
imponerse.
En el otro encuentro, el del
Sporting de Portugal frente a Rio Ave, el dominio fue del conjunto local,
cumpliendo el líder con los pronósticos, pero después de adelantarse en el
marcador en la primera mitad con un tanto de Pedro Gonçalves (42’) vio como en
la segunda Rio Ave empataba por mediación de Gelson Dala (61’).
