Michel no pudo ser más sincero en los micrófonos de Movistar en cuanto terminó el encuentro sobre su situación en el Huesca. Yo no veo al equipo muerto, sino vivo, tengo miedo que el equipo caiga pero hoy no lo ha hecho, y en Vigo fuimos a por el empate en los últimos 20 minutos... Nos falta un paso y espero que podamos darlo conmigo en el banquillo. Hasta el día de hoy sí me la han transmitido [la confianza del club]. Mañana ya veremos".
Posteriormente pasó por sala de prensa y también habló de su situación "Si ganamos los dos partidos, llegaríamos a los 18 puntos que está entre mis retos. Estoy en el mejor momento de mi carrera. Las fuerzas, la energía la tengo al 200%. Siempre duelen las derrotas, no somos el equipo que más pierde pero es verdad que somos colistas. Veo a un equipo que compite, los jugadores se dejan la vida y en cada entrenamiento a mi me lo demuestran.
Es una situación incómoda, muy preocupante, creo que tengo las soluciones pero no depende de mí. Los malos resultados no me quitan la energía porque veo que el equipo en muchos momentos hace muchas cosas bien. Mi miedo es que ellos se caigan pero no se caen, van para adelante. La destitución no es mi máxima preocupación. Tengo mucha energía y veo que los jugadores están vivos. Tengo todas las fuerzas del mundo para sacar esto adelante y perder sí que duele. No ha podido ser, estoy muy bien y muy tranquilo."
Las pruebas en el equipo: "La mejora del equipo pasa por conseguir una victoria ya. Tenemos que ser un equipo más contundente, con más equilibrio y menos toma y daca con el rival. Hemos hecho situaciones de juego para mejorar eso."
Opciones de empate: "Por sensaciones se ha visto que teníamos capacidad de llegar al área rival. Hemos tenido ocasiones con Juan Carlos, Rafa, un centro de Ferreiro, también de sufrir pero era buscar la situación que nos diera el empate. Los últimos minutos nos han permitido llegar vivos, no ha podido ser pero las hemos tenido.
"Mercado de fichajes: "No hemos pedido nada. Con esta plantilla es suficiente, si viene alguien en el centro del campo es porque sale alguien y si es en banda por tener un extremo puro, quizá es una de la escasez de la plantilla. Si vienen fichajes, bienvenidos, sino yo estoy muy contentos con todos. Cuento con todos".
Situación personal: "Lo vivo con tranquilidad, amo mi trabajo y en el día a día lo disfruto muchísimo. Desgraciadamente el fútbol son resultados y los entrenadores estamos por los resultados. Yo también creo en el largo plazo. Estoy convencido de que acabaremos disfrutando de este equipo en Primera".
