al Fulham, motivo del aplazamiento
La Premier League ha decidido
aplazar el partido entre Tottenham y Fulham de este miércoles (19.00 h.) por
culpa del coronavirus. El brote de Covid que afecta la plantilla de los
‘cottagers’ impedirá la celebración del encuentro, según confirmaron los
‘spurs’ a través de Twitter.
“Podemos confirmar que nuestro
partido en casa de la Premier League contra el Fulham, programado para esta
noche, se ha pospuesto”, indicó el Tottenham.
Este es el tercer partido
aplazado por el virus en lo que va de temporada, el segundo de esta semana tras
cancelarse el Everton-City, programado para el lunes. Antes ya tuvo que
reprogramarse el Newcastle-City.
José Mourinho, entrenador del
Tottenham, publicó un mensaje en las redes en que desvelaba que a pocas horas
del partido no sabían si finalmente se podría jugar.
La visita del Manchester City
al Everton el lunes se suspendió solo cuatro horas antes del inicio, algo
parecido a lo que ha sucedido en el caso del Tottenham-Fulham.
Este martes, The Athletic
adelantó que el coronavirus había azotado al Fulham, aunque no trascendió
cuántas personas se habían infectado.
