Karl-Heinz Rummenigge,
director-gerente del Bayern Múnich, desveló que su club está sufriendo
importantes pérdidas por culpa de la Covid-19. “Cada partido sin aficionados
nos cuesta cerca de cuatro millones de euros. Ya hemos jugado 17 a puerta
cerrada, es cuestión de hacer los cálculos”, declaró ayer en una entrevista a
la radio pública italiana RAI. Según estas cuentas, las pérdidas del vigente
campeón de Europa por la ausencia de los ingresos que le generan los encuentros
sin público se acercan ya a los 70 millones de euros.
Rummenigge también vaticinó
que los clubs deberán ajustar presupuestos y recortar gastos. Estas medidas
afectarán también a los futbolistas, que verán como sus sueldos sufren una
importante reducción. “Las cosas ya están cambiando. Las empresas no pueden
gastar como antes debido a los perjuicios que trajo la pandemia y ahora aseguro
que los salarios también van a caer. Algo que será normal, pues hablamos de
cantidades muy elevadas”, destacó
