Hotspur, José Mourinho, cuestionó la actitud de algunos de sus jugadores tras
la derrota en casa por 0-2 del domingo ante el Leicester City en la Premier
League.
Los visitantes recibieron un
penalti en el tiempo de descuento de la primera mitad después de que el defensa
Serge Aurier chocara contra Wesley Fofana y Jamie Vardy convirtió desde el
punto de penalti. Un gol en propia meta de Toby Alderweireld en la segunda
mitad selló la victoria para el equipo de Brendan Rodgers.
Mourinho dijo que Aurier
debería haber sido más consciente de la situación, pero no culpó de la derrota
a su imprudente acción. “Lo describiría como un error”, dijo Mourinho a Sky
Sports. “Tienes que saber dónde estás y saber que estás dentro del área y el
jugador se va alejando de tu portería sin ningún tipo de peligro. Serge estuvo
fenomenal contra el Liverpool, probablemente nuestro mejor jugador, pero hoy
cometió este error. ¿Si este error nos costó los tres puntos? Creo que es
injusto decir eso”.
Mourinho dijo que si bien era
injusto señalar con el dedo a Aurier, hubo otros en el equipo que no mostraron
la actitud correcta. “Si tuviera que hablar de individuos, podría ir en otras
direcciones donde la actitud no sea la que me gusta”, agregó en tono crítico.
