El Watford anunció la
destitución de su entrenador, el serbio Vladimir Ivic, que llegó al equipo que
milita en la segunda categoría del fútbol inglés en el pasado mes de agosto.
El club anunció el cese del
técnico balcánico horas después de la derrota sufrida ante el Huddersfield, de
la vigésima jornada.
“El Watford confirma la marcha
del entrenador Vladimir Ivic con efecto inmediato. El cuerpo técnico también
dejará Vicarage Road”, anunció en su página web el club que agradeció al
preparador el trabajo realizado.
“Los Hornets agradecen a Ivic y
su personal sus esfuerzos esta temporada y les desean lo mejor para el futuro
éxito en otros lugares”, indica la nota de la entidad que ha prescindido de un
técnico al que contrató en agosto pasado por una temporada con opción a otra.
El Watford, que descendió de
la Premier en la temporada pasada, es quinto en la Championship, en zona de
promoción de ascenso. En sus dos últimos partidos empató frente el Brentford y
perdió ante el Huddersfield.
