B y los ucranianos jugarán la Europa League
Golpe tremendo para un rácano
Inter, que con la victoria del Real Madrid sobre el Borussia Mönchengladbach
(2-0) tuvo en su mano estar en el sorteo del próximo lunes en Nyon ante un
Shakhtar Donetsk que se habría plantado en octavos de final como primer
clasificado del Grupo B en caso de haber marcado un tanto en un partido
decepcionante (0-0), en el que ambos equipos carecieron de ambición.
Especialmente los de Antonio
Conte, que acumulan un nuevo fracaso europeo y ven como un conjunto que tan
solo ha sido capaz de marcar en dos encuentros -ante el Real Madrid- disputará
la Europa League, mientras los Lautaro, Lukaku, Alexis y compañía verán un año
más las principales competiciones continentales por la TV antes de tiempo.
Finalmente el técnico italiano
pudo contar con Nicolo Barella, duda hasta última hora, en el centro del campo
y no tuvo que echar mano del marginado Christian Eriksen, al que sacó con el
tiempo ya cumplido el pasado fin de semana en Serie A ante el Bolonia.
Larguero de Lautaro Martínez
El Inter llevó el peso del
partido desde el principio, pero sin llegar a poner en apuros a un Shakhtar
Donetsk que parecía no inmutarse pese a que los tantos del Real Madrid, que
dejaban a los ucranianos fuera de la Champions, iban cayendo en Valdebebas. Solo
un derechazo de Lautaro Martínez al palo tras un gran centro de Barella puso
sobre alerta a los de Luis Castro, que se aferraban a las arrancadas del
brasileño Taison para mantener sus opciones de plantarse en octavos.
La segunda parte arrancó
igual, con el Shakhtar parapetado atrás y el Inter intentando buscarle las
cosquillas, aunque sin demasiada clarividencia. La más clara la tuvo a balón
parado, tras un cabezazo de Romelu Lukaku que sacó con un vuelo sin motor el
jovencísimo Trubin, que ha completado una fase de grupos a un altísimo nivel.
Con los cambios, los
visitantes combinaron más y tuvieron su primera ocasión en el 63’ en las botas
de Maycon Barberan, que cazó un rechace de Handanovic en el área que no vio
portería por muy poco.
Conte tardó muchísimo en
agitar el banquillo y Alexis Sánchez, nuevamente a balón parado, pudo lograr el
tanto que le diera la clasificación al Inter, pero se topó con un Lukaku, que
evitó involuntariamente el gol del Tocopillano.
