el triunfo al conjunto de Rogério Ceni
El Flamengo venció al Botafogo
por 1-0 este sábado en Río de Janeiro y acortó la ventaja del Sao Paulo, que
lidera el Campeonato Brasileño.
Con gol de Bruno Henrique, el
Flamengo se mantiene en la tercera posición pero iguala al Atlético Minero en
42 puntos, a dos del líder Sao Paulo.
El Flamengo demostró su fuerza
solo en el segundo tiempo pues el inicio fue dominado por el Botafogo, que tuvo
su primera oportunidad apenas rodó la bola con una rápido pase de Bruno Nazario
a Pedro Raúl con el que el centrocampista consiguió asustar a Diego Alves.
La réplica llegó en el minuto
14 con un pase del uruguayo Giorgian de Arrascaeta a Bruno Henrique que, por
poco, abre el marcador en el estadio Nilton Santos de Río de Janeiro.
Fue solo en el segundo tiempo,
y tras un pase de Gerson desde la mitad del área, que el Flamengo marcó el
primer y único gol del partido, con un tiro a la esquina del arco lanzado por
Bruno Henrique en el minuto 54.
Este fue el octavo partido
consecutivo sin triunfos para el Botafogo que sigue hundido en la penúltima
posición con 20 puntos.
En el clásico de la jornada,
Santos y Palmeiras empataron 2-2, resultado que sirvió a ambos para avanzar una
posición y desbancar al Internacional, que cayó al sexto lugar.
El Palmeiras ascendió al
cuarto lugar, con 38 puntos, los mismos que el Santos, que es quinto por peor
diferencia de goles.
Los dirigidos por el técnico
portugués Abel Ferreira, que no estuvo en el banquillo por estar con covid,
complicaron el desempeño del Santos en la cancha al comienzo del juego, pero un
tiro de esquina de Marinho en el minuto 23 que casi se convierte en gol
olímpico devolvió las ganas de ataque al conjunto santista.
Tras dos intentos del Santos,
un tiro directo de Marinho y otro intento del venezolano Yeferson Soteldo, el
marcador finalmente lo abrió Diego Pituca al minuto 37.
El Palmeiras igualó al
comienzo del segundo tiempo con una anotación de Raphael Veiga y tomó ventaja
en el minuto 62 con un gol de William.
La dicha duró poco para el
Palmeiras porque su rival volvió a igualar el marcador tras una jugada armada
por Soteldo y con la que Marinho logró marcar el segundo para el Santos, que en
este 2020 no consiguió vencer en ningún clásico paulista.
