pese a recuperarse bien
Nuno Espirito Santo,
entrenador del Wolves, admitió hoy que temió el domingo por su goleador Raúl
Jiménez tras el brutal encontronazo con la cabeza de David Luiz (Arsenal) que
le causó fractura de cráneo. El delantero mexicano fue retirado en camilla y
asistido con una máscara de oxígeno.
“Fue muy serio, todo el mundo
tenía miedo, se preocupó”, afirmó Nuno. “Se está recuperando bien y tenemos
noticias positivas sobre la situación. Es positivo, pero sabemos de la gravedad
de la situación. Sigue en observación y estará en casa pronto”.
Jiménez, de 29 años, se encuentra
internado en un hospital de Londres, donde fue intervenido el lunes, a la
espera de recibir el alta y poder marcharse a su casa para comenzará la
rehabilitación.

Sobre posibles plazos de
recuperación, Nuno fue muy claro y dijo que es pronto para pensar en eso y que
no es el momento. “Dejémosle descansar y ya veremos”, declaró en conferencia de
prensa el técnico portugués. “Es normal que estemos tristes y preocupados,
porque queremos a Raúl. Es nuestra familia, pero a medida que pasen los días
las cosas van volviendo poco a poco a la normalidad”,

Sobre las innumerables
muestras de apoyo que ha recibido Jiménez, dijo: “No me sorprende esta
reacción. Raúl significa mucho para esta ciudad. Todo lo que puedas decir sobre
