elogió a sus futbolistas tras el 0-4 en el Sánchez-Pizjuán
El entrenador del Chelsea,
Frank Lampard, ha alabado a sus futbolistas por “el trabajo duro” y el gran
deseo que tienen de dejar “su huella” tras la contundente victoria (0-4)
lograda este miércoles sobre el Sevilla en el Sánchez-Pizjuán en el partido de
la Liga de Campeones.
Lampard aseguró en la rueda de
prensa tras el partido que “ganar consistencia durante un período prolongado es
ahora el próximo objetivo” de su equipo, sobre todo porque “los niveles de
dificultad subirán en las próximas eliminatorias de la Liga de Campeones” que
disputará el conjunto londinense a partir de febrero.
“Siento que estamos en un lugar
diferente esta temporada en comparación con la anterior. Estoy encantado de
habernos clasificado en primer lugar a falta todavía de un partido para el
final de esta fase de grupos”, añadió el técnico británico.
Lampard se detuvo a “elogiar
la profesionalidad de Giroud”, autor de los cuatro goles al Sevilla, quien “es
un jugador que tiene un gran impacto en el grupo”, por lo que se marcha
“encantado con una actuación increíble”.
El preparador inglés destacó
el “mérito” del delantero francés “y también de todos sus compañeros” por
golear a “un oponente realmente bueno como es el Sevilla”, al que el Chelsea
doblegó con “goles que muestran una magnífica calidad individual”.
