Un doblete del sueco, que
acabó lesionado, frustra a un gran Nápoles en un partidazo de altos vuelos
Zlatan Ibrahimovic impuso
su ley en San Paolo con un doblete fantástico para someter a un Nápoles
encomiable y catapultar al Milan de nuevo a lo más alto de la Serie A. Dos
maravillas del genio sueco, que tuvo que ser sustituido por un problema
muscular, castigaron con crueldad a los de Gattuso, merecedores de algo más en
un partido de altos vuelos y lleno de alternativas marcado en buena medida por
la expulsión de Bakayoko, que cortó de raíz la reacción partenopea justo
después de que Mertens recortara distancias en el marcador.
Nápoles y Milan brindaron
un espectáculo mayúsculo en San Paolo, demostrando una vez más que la Serie A
goza de plena salud. La puesta en escena del equipo de Pioli, ausente por
coronavirus, fue rotunda. Maniató al Nápoles gracias a su presión adelantada y
Çalhanoglu y Saelemaekers sembraban el caos por detrás de Ibra. Antes del
primer cuarto de hora, el cuadro rossonero ya merodeó el gol con tres
aproximaciones peligrosas.
Pero fue Ibrahimovic,
quién si no, el que rubricó la superioridad visitante con un gol soberbio,
coronando un centro medido de Theo desde la izquierda con un testarazo
inapelable desde más allá del punto de penalti.
El tanto milanista cambió
el guion del partido completamente, pues la respuesta del Nápoles fue tan
inmediata como apabullante. Subieron las líneas los de Gattuso y empezaron
asomar por el balcón del área milanista los peloteros locales. Mertens, Insigne,
Lozano y sobre todo Politano, un huracán por la banda derecha, hicieron de todo
con la zaga visitante, aliviada por varias intervenciones de mucho mérito de
Donarumma y por el larguero, que escupió un remate franco de Di Lorenzo cuando
el asedio partenopeo empezaba a tomar forma (26’).
El Nápoles no aflojó en
ningún momento y al Milan no le quedó otra que sobrevivir y dedicarse a achicar
agua en su área, salvado por la campana del descanso cuando más achuchaban los
locales.
En la reanudación el
partidos bajó un poco el ritmo frenético que presidió el primer tiempo,
circunstancia que aprovechó el Milan para recuperar el hilo. En el minuto 54’
Ibra embocó un centro procedente de la izquierda, aunque en este caso con el
muslo, para sumar su décimo gol en seis partidos. De nuevo el Nápoles se reveló
contra su destino y Mertens recortó distancias en una indecisión de la defensa
del Milan (63’).
Cuando el partido parecía
inclinarse irremediablemente hacia la meta de Donnarumma, una torpeza de
Bakayoko derribando a Theo dejó al Nápoles con uno menos para cortar de raíz su
conato de reacción. En inferioridad no se amilanó el equipo de Gattuso, pero
poco a poco fue quedándose sin fuelle y facilitando las labores defensivas de
un Milan que encontró espacios para correr. En el descuento, Hauge firmó el 1-3
definitivo al culminar un contragolpe.
El Milan salió reforzado
de una de las plazas más complicadas de Italia pero pierde a cambio a
Ibrahimovic, guía y martillo del líder de la Serie A.
