Puede ganar su quinta Champions: “Sería un momento histórico. Estamos ilusionados a nivel de equipo. Veo lo que ha pasado durante la semana. No tenemos un poco de conciencia de que es historia. Y mejor no tenerla porque le gente está enfocada en el partido. Así, después, si todo sale bien, vamos a entrar en la historia. Estoy confiado, me siento bien, siento a mis compañeros bien. Si ganase la quinta sería la hostia”.

¿Medirse al Liverpool es especial por haber jugado en el United? “Las finales son siempre especiales. Preferiría que hubiera sido Manchester. Hay que respetar mucho al Liverpool. No creo que lo tengamos más fácil. Han hecho méritos para estar ahí. Me recuerda al Madrid de hace tres o cuatro años. Los tres de arriba, muy rápidos… Tiene poderío arriba, les respeto. Pero el Madrid es mejor. Hay que estar a nuestro nivel, pero hay que respetar al rival”.
Si gana su quinta Champions Igualaría a Bayern, Barça… ¿Iría a por Gento? “Ahora hay que pensar en el sábado. No nos damos cuenta de la historia que podemos hacer. Sería un momento especial. Por eso, las baterías cargadas para el sábado, mostrar nuestra experiencia y ganar el partido”.
