Uruguay para golear en un reducto casi inexpugnable, la siempre difícil
Barranquilla ante el local Colombia, en la tercera jornada de la liguilla
sudamericana para el Mundial de Qatar 2022. Los charrúas jugaron concentrados,
metiendo presión alta en la salida cafetera, y anotaron en los inicios de cada
tiempo, el primero de Edinson Cavani tras gran robo de Naithan Nández y el
segundo, de penalti transformado por Luis Suárez tras un avance de Rodrigo
Bentancur. Y de postre, un zapatazo desde 30 metros de Darwin Núñez significó
el 0-3 definitivo.
A la hora de repartir
elogios, Edinson Cavani fue generoso y emocionante en el esfuerzo. Desde
febrero que no jugaba 90 minutos, y resistió 77 en cancha, con un desgaste en
el ida y vuelta por derecha que sorprendió. Y además su gol. En la celeste Edi
se crece.
Luis Suárez irregular,
pero en la hora clave, desde el punto fatítico, otra vez no falló para el 2-0.
Jugó 69 minutos y fue sustituido. En el medio, Lucas Torreira fue un león, y la
compañía de Rodrigo Bentancur, no fue menos. Presionando sin pelota, y jugando
con el balón en los pies. Los cambios en el medio le sentaron de maravilla al
equipo de Tabárez.
En el fondo no pasó
desapercibida la vuelta de Josema Giménez. Su joven experiencia asentaron a la
zaga y su presencia potencia a Diego Godín, que mejoró notoriamente. El portero
Campaña, en el único momento de Colombia en el partido, tuvo dos paradas.
