doblete, Bernadeschi y Orsolini decidieron en el amistoso de los ‘azzurri’ en
Florencia
Vincenzo Grifo, con un
doblete, Federico Bernardeschi y Riccardo Orsolini, que completó la goleada de
penalti, dirigieron este miércoles la cómoda victoria (4-0) de una Italia con
muchas rotaciones contra Estonia, en un amistoso que sirvió como preparación
para los duelos de la Nations League contra Polonia y Bosnia Herzegovina.
En un estadio Artemio
Franchi de Florencia a puerta cerrada, el seleccionado ‘azzurro"’ cogió
ritmo de cara a los dos próximos importantes duelos oficiales, que ponen en
juego un billete para la fase final de la Liga de Naciones.
Italia, que se encargará
el próximo junio de abrir la Eurocopa en el estadio Olímpico romano contra
Turquía, en un grupo en el que también figuran Suiza y Gales, vivió una noche
inédita este miércoles, tanto por su alineación repleta de novedades como por
la ausencia de su seleccionador, Roberto Mancini.
El segundo entrenador
Alberico Evani estuvo en el banquillo mientras que Mancini, positivo por
coronavirus, siguió el encuentro desde su casa y estuvo en constante contacto
con su colaborador Gianluca Vialli para dar indicaciones.
Ante la situación de
emergencia sanitaria, con la baja por coronavirus de Ciro Immobile y varios
jugadores bloqueados en confinamiento por precaución, al haber tenido casos de
contagio en sus equipos, Italia aprovechó este duelo para dar protagonismo a
elementos no habituales en el seleccionado ‘azzurro’.
El defensa del Inter
Alessandro Bastoni, en su debut absoluto como internacional, dio un día de
descanso a Leonardo Bonucci, sentado en el banquillo, mientras que Nicoló
Barella o Andrea Belotti ni siquiera fueron convocados para guardar energías en
vista de los duelos contra Polonia y Bosnia.
Y no fallaron sus
oportunidades los dos extremos del 4-3-3 italiano. Grifo, en su cuarto partido
como internacional, rompió la igualdad con un golazo desde fuera del área en el
13 y Bernardeschi, también con un disparo raso desde los 18 metros, amplió
distancias en el 27, para enviar a Italia al descanso por delante 2-0.
Estonia, colista en el
grupo 2 de la Liga C de la Liga de Naciones UEFA, no tuvo fuerzas para crear
peligros ofensivos y sucumbió en la reanudación ante dos penas máximas,
transformadas por Grifo, quien completo su doblete personal, y por Orsolini.
El extremo del Bolonia
consiguió y anotó el penalti, para celebrar su segunda diana con la selección
italiana y dos partidos disputados.
Italia se prepara ahora
para recibir el domingo a Polonia, en un partido en el que debe ganar para
superar a los polacos y hacerse con el mando en el grupo 1 de la Liga A de la
Nations League.
De momento, Polonia lidera
el grupo con siete puntos, uno más que Italia, con Holanda tercera con cinco
puntos y Bosnia colista, dos.
Los hombres de Mancini
completarán su fase de grupos precisamente ante los bosnios.
