Leopoldo Luque destaca la
evolución positiva de Maradona tras su operación
Leopoldo Luque, el médico
de Diego Maradona, destacó este viernes la unión del equipo médico, la familia
y el entorno del exfutbolista argentino para “buscar como objetivo su mejoría”,
tras el debate que se formó por el tiempo en que debe permanecer hospitalizado.
“Quiero destacar la
evolución de Diego y que la familia se está alineando, notamos eso, están todos
de acuerdo. Para todos está claro que el objetivo es la mejoría de Diego. Todos
empezamos a tirar para el mismo lado y eso es muy favorable, hay que
destacarlo”, señaló Luque en el parte médico vespertino que brindó en la
Clínica Olivos, en Buenos Aires, donde sigue internado el astro del fútbol mundial.
“La abstinencia se debe al
consumo de toda su vida. Vemos una reacción de sudoración, de ira, y la
catalogamos como abstinencia. Por eso no quisimos dejarlo ir, insistimos. Ahora
lo vemos muy bien”, agregó Luque, que destacó su idea de mantener a Maradona
internado al menos hasta el próximo lunes.
“La idea es que se quede
hasta que finalice este proceso, que varía según el paciente. Uno estima que
hasta el lunes seguro. Se verá la evolución de él, no ponemos un día
determinado. Todo esto es una decisión conjunta con la gente de terapia, que es
la que lleva el tratamiento”, aclaró el neurocirujano.
Luque aclaró que Maradona
“está despierto, pero sigue con sedación, que lleva tiempo que el cuerpo la
elimine. El próximo paso es ver si se encuentra estable con esos fármacos por
vía oral”, apostilló.
En junio pasado, el mismo
facultativo reconoció en un programa de televisión que Maradona tiene “algunos
ansiolíticos recetados ya desde hace bastante tiempo”.
Maradona fue internado el
lunes en una clínica de la ciudad bonaerense de La Plata por anemia,
deshidratación y con un “bajón anímico”, pero al someterse a chequeos más
detallados se le diagnosticó un hematoma subdural del que se le hizo la
intervención.
El viernes pasado, día en
que cumplió 60 años, Maradona estuvo en el estadio del Gimnasia y Esgrima La
Plata, club al que dirige, en la primera jornada del nuevo torneo argentino,
pero se retiró a los pocos minutos visiblemente desmejorado y con problemas de
movilidad.
