Thomas Tuchel está cada
vez más acorralado por las críticas tras ser el miércoles, con la derrota en
Leipizig (2-1), el primer entrenador que cosecha dos derrotas con el PSG en una
fase de grupos de la Champions League desde que sus propietarios qatarís
compraron el club en 2011.
El vigente subcampeón de
Europa está entre las cuerdas (es tercero de grupo con 3 puntos por 6 de
Leipzig y Manchester United) y no solo por las lesiones, entre otros, de Neymar
y Kylian Mbappé, ausentes en Leipzig. Hubo errores individuales en los goles
que los críticos achacan a que Tuchel se empeña en poner al recién fichado
Danilo Pereira de central en lugar de en el centro del campo, su posición
natural. “Mi puesto no es la defensa, soy centrocampista”, dijo el portugués
sin tapujos tras el partido.
Mientras, Marquinhos, que
juega en el sitio de Danilo, apoyó a Tuchel al ser cuestionado sobre si el
vestiario está con él. “Por supuesto. Es el técnico que ha tenido una mejor
temporada en la historia del club (lo llevó a la final de la Champions la
pasada temporad) y tenemos confianza en él. Si las cosas no van bien no es por
su culpa”, aseguró el brasileño, uno de los capitanes y a quien el técnico
alemán adelanta al centro del campo.
No me siento debilitado,
para mí las críticas no existen
Tuchel dijo tras el
encuentro del miércoles que “no me siento debilitado, hay que aceptar las
críticas, no existen para mí”. Pero acaba contrato en junio de 2021 y su
relación con Leonardo, director deportivo, parece irreconciliable. “¿Renovar?
No me hago ilusiones” admitió el técnico el martes en una entrevista a Sky
Deutschland. Destituirle antes de acabar la temporada le costaría al PSG entre
10 y 15 millones de euros.
