Youssoufa Moukoko es una de las perlas más brillantes de la cantera 'borusser'. Ha marcado 134 goles en 86 partidos entre el Borussia sub-17 y sub-19.
No diga gol, diga Moukoko. O eso es lo que se hace en las categorías inferiores del Borussia Dortmund, donde Youssoufa Moukoko (Yaundé, Camerún, 20 de noviembre de 2004) aterroriza defensas rivales. El mismísimo Erling Haaland, acostumbrado perforar redes sin importar la fecha de nacimiento, se rindió al joven delantero. "Moukoko es mucho mejor que lo que yo era a los 15 años. A esa edad él ya entrena con el Dortmund mientras que yo estaba todavía en Byrne", reconocía la estrella noruega. Ahora es otra voz autorizada, más si cabe por el valor que aporta la experiencia, la que deshace en elogios hacia la floreciente perla borusser. Samuel Eto'o, uno de los goleadores más voraces de la década pasada, considera que su techo es tan alto como el de su excompañero Leo Messi, el, para muchos, mejor jugador de la historia.
"Hay un joven jugador que juega para el Dortmund, llamado Youssoufa Moukoko", comenzaba el exinternacional camerunés cuando en el portal Goal le preguntaban por el nombre del siguiente gran fichaje que debería hacer el Barça. "Tiene 15 años y él es el siguiente gran jugador, para mí, después de Messi", continuaba. El de Duala considera que la dupla Griezmann-Moukoko regalaría muchas tardes de gloria a la parroquia barcelonista: "Con Antoine y Youssoufa, ese equipo atacaría muy bien". Tras lo que añadía un guiño al gran objeto de deseo del gran rival blaugrana: "A Mbappé en el Barcelona, también (le gustaría verle)".
Las comparaciones son odiosas y pueden llegar a afectar negativamente en las carreras de determinados futbolistas. Pero, nuestro protagonista lleva tiempo lidiando con las altas expectativas. Con apenas 13 años ya jugaba con el Borussia sub-17, para dar el salto con 14 al sub-19, categoría en la que se estrenaría con seis tantos en la victoria amarilla sobre el Wuppertal (9-2). 134 goles en 86 entre ambas categorías es la carta de presentación del jugador más joven en debutar en la UEFA Youth League, curiosamente, ante el Barça, con 14 años. Un mes después, ya con 15, se convertiría en el más joven en marcar en dicha competición al abrir el marcador ante el Inter de Milan. Moukoko es ambicioso: "Mi objetivo es convertirme en jugador profesional en Dortmund, conquistar la Champions con el BVB y ganar el Balón de Oro".
Debut próximo y un episodio triste
Velocidad, potencia y un hambre goleadora voraz son las características de este niño con cuerpo y capacidades adultas que se espera haga su debut a las órdenes de Lucien Favre en cuanto cumpla 16 años, edad necesaria para ser profesional a ojos de la Federación alemana. La delantera formada por su padrino, un Haaland que solo suma 20 primaveras, y Youssoufa, que tendrá 16 cuando debute, añadirá, si cabe, nuevos cazatalentos a los encuentros disputados por el conjunto alemán. Asimismo, a pesar de haber nacido en Camerún, tiene la doble nacionalidad y defiende los colores de la selección alemana sub-20, con la cual ya ha debutado, pese a tener solamente 15 años.
Aunque todo lo que rodea a Moukoko deberían ser sonrisas, alegría y expectación, no hay que olvidar que es solamente un niño, el último episodio vivido por el ariete pone de manifiesto el grave problema del racismo en el mundo del fútbol. Hace unos días, el Borussia Dortmund sub-19 se enfrentaba al Schalke 04 de la categoría y nuestro protagonista se dedicaba a hacer lo que mejor sabe, marcar goles. Hasta tres. Pero hubo de lidiar con los desagradables improperios y cánticos racistas que llegaban desde la grada. Llegando, incluso, a proferir amenazas contra su persona. El joven jugador se limitó a expresarse por redes sociales tras el partido: "Estoy orgulloso de nacer con este color de piel y siempre lo estaré".
