El Olympiacos tomó ventaja
este miércoles en la carrera por acabar segundo en el Grupo C de esta Champions
League gracias a un agónico triunfo sobre el Olympique de Marsella (1-0), con
un gol de Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ en el tiempo de prolongación.
El encuentro se preveía
igualado y así fue. En la primera parte vimos a los helenos con algo más de
presencia ofensiva que los franceses, que contaron con el empuje y la
inteligencia de Payet, Thauvin y Benedetto en los metros finales.
Los de Pedro Martins lo
intentaron sobre todo por banda izquierda, con José Holebas y Giorgos Masouras
como principales protagonistas. Aunque no fue hasta el segundo tiempo cuando
pudimos ver la primera ocasión clara del encuentro.

de a Masouras
Tan solo 1’ después de la
reanudación, el guardameta portugués José Sá le ganó un mano a mano a
Benedetto, que estuvo algo lento en la definición. Pocos instantes después,
Masouras adelantaría a Olympiacos con una acción que posteriormente anularía el
VAR por fuera de juego previo.
Después de estos dos
avisos, ambos equipos parecían contentarse con el empate pero Hassan, que había
entrado en el 84’, cabeceó al fondo de la red de Mandanda un centro desde la
derecha del ex marsellés Valbuena con el tiempo ya cumplido y le dio la
victoria a los suyos.
Un tanto que, unido a la
victoria del Manchester City ante el Porto (3-1) en el otro partido del grupo,
deja a los helenos en muy buena posición para opositar a una segunda plaza que,
a priori, se disputarán con el propio Porto y el Marsella, que recibirá al
‘coco’ del grupo el próximo 27 de octubre, misma fecha en la que Olympiacos se
jugará en Do Dragao muchas de sus posibilidades de pasar a octavos de final.
