El joven extremo mexicano Diego Lainez se ha
estrenado este miércoles como goleador con la selección absoluta de su país al
anotar el 2-2 a los 86’ del amistoso disputado en La Haya (Países Bajos) ante
Argelia, que dominaba por 1-2 en el marcador pese a jugar con uno menos por
expulsión de Andre Guedioura en el 56’.
El ‘Tecatito’ Corona adelantó a la selección
mexicana en el minuto 44, pero solo un minutos después empataba Bennacer para
los argelinos, que tomaban ventaja en el 67’ merced a un gol de Ryan Mahrez.
Los béticos Diego Lainez y Andrés Guardado entraron
de refresco en los minutos 64 y 65 en vez de Pizarro y Jonathan dos Santos,
respectivamente, y a cuatro minutos del final fue el joven extremo de 20 años
Diego Lainez quien logró el tanto de la igualada, al cruzar con precisión ante
la salida del portero un buen balón centrado al espacio por Raúl Jiménez.
Este es el sexto partido que juega Lainez con la
selección absoluta de México -es un habitual de la sub 21, y la sub 23
olímpica- y su primer gol, mientras que para Andrés Guardado supuso el partido
163º como internacional absoluto (28 goles).
En la selección de Argelia ha jugado el partido
completo el también bético Aissa Mandi, mientras que Canales disputaba 70
minutos con la selección española en Ucrania, donde perdió 1-0. El liderato del
Grupo 4 de la Liga de las Naciones seguramente esté en juego en el partido de
la última jornada ante Alemania, el 17 de noviembre, en el estadio de La
Cartuja de Sevilla.
