El portero del Ajax André Onana, que dio positivo
por coronavirus en una PCR hecha este jueves por la mañana en la concentración
de la selección de Camerún, ha dado negativo en una segunda prueba horas
después. “Estoy en casa de vuelta. Me han hecho el test y he dado negativo”,
dijo el guardameta, que formó parte de las categorías inferiores del Barcelona,
en su cuenta verificada de Instagram.
“Gracias por
todos los mensajes amables”, añadió el arquero, que volverá este viernes a
Amsterdam para entrenarse con la plantilla del Ajax. Estaba previsto que Onana
participara en el amistoso que Camerún jugará este viernes contra Japón en
Utrecht, pero el equipo médico de su selección anunció este jueves que tanto
Onana como el centrocampista Pierre Kundé habían dado positivo por coronavirus.
Como consecuencia, los futbolistas Moumi Ngamaleu y
Moumi Ngamaleu fueron puestos en cuarentena, por lo que Camerún solo cuenta con
17 efectivos para el partido del viernes.
La primera noticia del contagio de Onana se recibió
con sorpresa en el Ajax, ya que el arquero fue uno de los trece afectados del
brote de COVID-19 que sufrió el club a principios de agosto, informó el diario
