El Oporto celebró
este lunes su 127 cumpleaños. Los festejos de dicho aniversario han constado de
varios eventos. Uno de ellos ha sido la entrega de los premios Dragones de Oro.
El exmadridista Pepe ha sido uno de los condecorados. El central recibió el
Dragón de Oro que le reconoce como el mejor futbolista del club portista en
2020. El presidente del Oporto, Pinto da Costa, le hizo entrega del premio en
una ceremonia que tuvo lugar en e Estadio do Dragao.

equipo. La primera ocasión fue en 2006, unos meses antes de fichar por el
Madrid. Pepe regresó al Oporto en la campaña 2018-19. “Recbir el segundo es gratificante.
Muestra lo que doy diariamente al club y a los compañeros. Ser de esta familia
del Oporto es un sentimiento que no puedo describir. Agradezco al presidente
por la posibilidad de poder volver, por el coraje que tuvo para traerme de
vuelta a mi casa, cuando otros decían que era difícil volver. Podía haber
escogido otra opción, pero quise ese desafío y dar mi contribución”, dijo Pepe
en los canales oficiales del Oporto.
