Después de
tomarse un descanso en la primera jornada, Manchester City consumó su debut en

Wolverhampton en el Molineux Stadium y superaron, sin problemas, una difícil
prueba que se les presentó en el nuevo año deportivo.
Durante el

arrimar la victoria. En el complemento, Wolves llegó al descuento gracias a
Raúl Jiménez pero no alcanzó porque Gabriel Jesús puso 3-1 definitivo sobre el
tiempo de descuento.
Con este
resultado, los locales perdieron la posibilidad de seguir por el camino de la
victoria, mientras que Manchester City dio un paso importante. Sumó sus
