Zaha hizo su
doblete en Old Trafford y los londinenses suman su segundo triunfo de la
temporada. Pleno de victorias.
El Manchester
United no ha empezado la Premier League con buen pie. Justo eso: cuando pudo
meterse en el partido, con sólo 0-1 en contra en el marcador, David De Gea paró
un penalti a Ayew, pero adelantó sus pies de la línea de gol. El árbitro Mike
Dean ordenó repetir el lanzamiento y no falló Zaha, que puso el 0-2 definitivo,
casi insalvable para los diablos rojos. El conjunto de Roy Hodgson dio la
sorpresa en Old Trafford. Sin balón pero metiendo miedo en cada carrera con
espacios, en cada pérdida de los locales. En la primera parte, Schlupp le quitó
las pegatinas a Lindelöf, llegó a la línea de fondo y Townsend remató en el
segundo palo para hacer el 0-1. Después, a falta de un cuarto de hora, una mano
del propio Lindelöf desencadenó el segundo gol, de penalti, repetido gracias al
VAR. Primero lo tiró Ayew y después lo marcó Zaha, al que ya habían anulado un
gol.
Aunque el
Manchester United tuvo casi toda la posesión durante el partido, en pocos
momentos logró tener el control absoluto. La velocidad de Zaha, Ayew y Schlupp
fue un problema constante. Solskjer dejó en el banquillo a Greenwood pero tuvo
que sacarlo en el descanso, y un poco más tarde hizo lo mismo con Van de Beek.
El holandés debutó con su nuevo equipo supliendo a Pogba, muy errático, y
colocándose como mediapunta. Ni Pogba, ni Bruno, ni Rashford, ni Martial
tuvieron su mejor tarde y la ausencia de ocasiones terminó por condenar al
equipo. Van de Beek, eso sí, tardó poco en hacerse notar, ya que marcó su
primer gol rematando un balón muerto en el área para hacer el 1-2.
Sin embargo,
cuando los locales soñaban con una remontada final, Zaha volvió a golpear con
fuerza. Con el Manchester United partido, defendiendo con la línea de cuatro y
poco más, el Crystal Palace volvió a salir al galope. Así encontraron a su
estrella, que se perfiló en la frontal del área y volvió a batir a De Gea, que
esta vez no llegó. Zaha hizo su doblete en Old Trafford, un estadio donde no
pudo triunfar durante la temporada 2013/14, y los londinenses suman su segundo
triunfo de la temporada. Pleno de victorias.
