De cara a la
reanudación del certamen, CONMEBOL permitió ampliar la nómina y el Xeneize
oficializó a los 40 jugadores que el DT tendrá a disposición.
A seis meses de
su último partido, tras una pandemia que hizo estragos en todo el mundo, la
Copa Libertadores regresa a la acción a partir del 15 de septiembre , con
importantes cambios reglamentarios, adaptados al protocolo para evitar la
propagación del coronavirus. Y uno de los más importantes es la posibilidad
para los clubes de ampliar sus listas de buena fe de 30 a 40 futbolistas , para
contrarrestar así posibles brotes.
Justamente Boca
es uno de los equipos más afectados, ya que durante la última semana registró
más de 20 futbolistas contagiados , en la preparación para el encuentro ante
Libertad por la tercera fecha de la fase de grupos, en la que suma cuatro
puntos, producto de su empate ante Caracas y la victoria frente a Independiente
Medellín.
Miguel Russo,
quien no podrá viafar con la delegación por ser parte del grupo de riesgo, ya
definió nómina, en la cual tiene cinco bajas con respecto a la original: Junior
Alonso (Atlético Mineiro), Jan Hurtado (Bragantino), Emanuel Reynoso (Minnesota
United) y Marcos Díaz (libre) ya no forman parte del plantel, pero suma a Edwin
Cardona, Javier García, los únicos dos refuerzos, mientras que Gonzalo Maroni,
Walter Bou, Mateo Retegui y Agustín Rossi regresaron de sus diferentes préstamos
y aunque buscaban su salida, serán tenidos en cuenta por la situación de
emergencia.
Y a ellos se les
agregan Renzo Giampaoli, Agustín Sandez, Alan Varela, Cristian Medina, Exequiel
Zeballos, Luis Vázquez, Exequiel Fernández Carballo, Iván Alvariño y Agustín
Lastra , este último el quinto arquero del plantel, que podría tener su debut
ya que los otros cuatro dieron positivo en el testeo más reciente.
Con las
mencionadas incorporaciones, la lista llega a 40 , aunque hay una incógnita
más: Sebastián Villa . El colombiano se encuentra en conflicto con el club, que
decidió marginarlo hasta que se resuelva su causa por violencia de género pero
a su vez rechazó las ofertas para transferirlo.
