El delantero belga volverá a jugar en el Crystal Palace tras destacar en la segunda parte de la temporada 2018-2019.
Michy Batshuayi vuelve al Crystal Palace. A sus 26 años, el delantero internacional belga hace las maletas al tener muy complicada la titularidad con la llegada de Timo Werner del Chelsea, aunque no se mueve de Londres, al ser cedido por una temporada a Selhurst Park.
Batshuayi ya jugó en el Crystal Palace en la segunda parte de la temporada 2018-2019, también cedido por el Chelsea, y marcó 6 goles en 13 partidos de la Premier League desde su llegada en enero hasta junio de 2019.
“Tuvo un gran impacto en el club en su anterior período de préstamo, demostrando ser una amenaza de gol que tanto necesitábamos en ese momento y estamos seguros de que volverá a exhibir“, asegura el entrenador del Palace, Roy Hodgson, en el comunicado.
El Palace solo marcó 31 goles en la pasada Premier
El Palace acabó en 14º lugar la temporada pasada tras anotar apenas 31 goles en las 38 jornadas disputadas y, además de con Batshuayi, también ha reforzado sus opciones de ataque al incorporar a Eberechi Eze, del Queens Park Rangers, de la Segunda División inglesa.
El Chelsea le cede por cuarta vez
Batshuayi llega al Chelsea en julio de 2016 procedente del Marsella y es la cuarta vez que el club ‘blue’ le cede tras hacerlo también al Borussia Dortmund de enero a junio de 2018 y al Valencia de agosto de 2018 a enero de 2019, cuando inició su primera etapa a préstamo en el Crystal Palace.
Ahora Batshuayi vuelve a Selhurst Park ya que, además de Werner, el Chelsea tiene en nómina a delanteros centro de la talla de Olivier Giroud y Tammy Abraham.
