El adiós de Allegri y Sarri por parte 'bianconera' y el de Spalleti y la posible marcha de Conte por la 'neroazzurra' suponen un monumental gasto en indemnizaciones.
Los banquillos de los grandes equipos son asientos complicados. La urgencia que acompaña a las grandes inversiones va de la mano de una falta de paciencia, tanto de los aficionados como de la directiva, cada día más habitual en el planeta fútbol. En la Serie A no es diferente. Hace poco más de un año, coincidiendo con el final de la temporada pasada, Massimiliano Allegri y Luciano Spalletti decían adiós a Juventus e Inter de Milan. Maurizio Sarri y Antonio Conte tomaban el relevo. El primero ya ha sido despedido, el segundo no se siente respaldado y su posible marcha lleva tiempo poblando las primeras páginas de la prensa transalpina. Cuatro contratos rotos que van de la mano de las correspondientes indemnizaciones. Un baile en los banquillos que, según las cifras que maneja la Gazzetta dello Sport, costaría más de 100 millones de euros a los máximos dominadores del fútbol italiano.
Mayo de 2019
Vamos por partes. En mayo de 2019, tanto la Juventus como el Inter decidían que necesitaban un cambio en el timón de sus respectivas naves. Allegri dejaba Turín con un fantástico bagaje (cinco Serie A consecutivas, cuatro Copas de Italia y dos Supercopas de Italia), pero con el debe de a la Champions League, competición que se le resistió. Según el citado medio, existe una cláusula por la cual el salario del año restante del entrenador, 15.7 millones de euros (brutos), se acaba haciendo efectivo tras el año sabático que se toma 'Max', pagándole el importe total hasta el 30 de junio de 2020.
Una situación similar a la vivida en San Siro, aunque para los 'neroazurri' es aún peor. A pesar de devolver al Inter a la Champions League tras años de ausencia, el doble cuarto puesto firmado por Spalletti no es suficiente para que le respeten los dos años más de contrato que unía a ambas partes. Por una cláusula similar a la anterior y ante otro año sabático tomado por el exentrenador interista, el adiós de Spalletti le cuesta 25.8 millones de euros al Inter.
Año 2020
Cantidades, todas ellas, sumadas al reciente despido de Maurizio Sarri, quien, a pesar de triunfar nacionalmente, al igual que Allegri, se ha topado con el muro europeo. Muro levantado, esta vez, por un sorprendente Olympique de Lyon que terminó por sentenciar al extécnico del Chelsea, quien nunca llegó a convencer con su juego a la parroquia bianconera. El contrato firmado apenas un año atrás era de 2+1, por lo que el montante final de la indemnización es de 15 millones de euros.
Y así llegamos un expediente X, el futuro de Conte. El italiano no se ha sentido respaldado por la parte noble del club y así lo ha hecho saber en diversas ocasiones. En lo deportivo, ha logrado terminar segundo, a un solo punto de la Juventus, en liga. Aunque la mayor decepción llegó al perder la final de la Europa League ante el Sevilla (3-2) días atrás. El total que recibiría Antonio Conte si se prescindiese de sus servicios es de 47 millones de euros (siempre antes de impuestos), además del gasto correspondiente al entrenador que le sustituyese.
En el caso de la Juventus, Andrea Pirlo sólo se embolsa dos millones anuales, dado que se trata de su primera gran experiencia en los banquillos. Sin embargo, en lo que respecta al Inter, los nombres que se barajan si se rompiese definitivamente la cuerda entre Conte y el Inter serían de mayor enjundia, como el del propio Massimiliano Allegri. Sea como fuere, y aunque tanto los unos como los otros tienen músculo económico que les respalda, la inestabilidad en los banquillos puede llegar a costar más de 100 millones de euros. Cantidad desorbitada y mucho más teniendo en cuenta la época de vacas flacas que se cierne sobre el fútbol a causa de la crisis económica provocada por la COVID-19.
