Gianni Nanni, jefe del personal sanitario del Bolonia y representante de los médicos de la Serie A en la comisión médica de FIGC tras los casos positivos registrados en los últimos días.
“¿Los futbolistas contagiados? Estamos preocupados, de nada sirve ocultarlo. Si los casos aumentaran aún más y fueran relevantes en algunos equipos hasta el punto de aplazar la pretemporada, el aplazamiento del inicio del campeonato se convertiría en una hipótesis muy real. Evidentemente, esperamos que esto no suceda”, explicó Nanni a Radio Kiss Kiss.
“Por eso, recomendamos a los jugadores, en estos últimos días de vacaciones, comportarse con responsabilidad. Soy consciente de que no se puede prohibir a los jugadores que hagan sus vacaciones. Sin embargo, esperamos que sean prudentes y que respeten todas las indicaciones de precaución y prevención para evitar contraer el COVID-19”, insistió el médico del Bolonia.
Walter Della Frera, miembro de la Assocalciatori en la comisión médica científica de la FIGC, aseguró en Radio Sportiva que “no hay señales que sugieran un posible aplazamiento de la Serie A. Estamos mirando de muy cerca la tendencia epidemiológica y actualmente parece que no hay problemas que puedan llevar al aplazamiento de la Serie A. Este repunte de la vuelta de las vacaciones era bastante esperado”.
