David Silva seguro que no tarda en sacar un rato, durante su estancia en San Sebastián, para compartirlo con Oskitz Estefanía, una de las mayores promesas salidas de la cantera de la Real Sociedad y con quien coincidió primero en la selección española sub 17, con la que fueron subcampeones del mundo, y en el Eibar, después. El ex txuriurdin tiene muy claro que el canario va a darle mucho al juego de los de Imanol Alguacil.
Oskitz valoró para MARCA la llegada a la Real de Silva, al que conoce de hacer juntos diabluras con 17 y 18 años. "Ha sido una sorpresa muy grata su fichaje, porque pensaba que ya lo tenía todo hecho con al Lazio. Pero, al final, mandó el comunicado la Real y tenemos que estar muy contentos, porque viene a Donosti un gran jugador. Tiene 34 años, va a aportar muchísimo desde el primer momento y creo que los aficionados de la Real tienen que estar muy contentos", asegura.
El que fuese prodigioso atacante en las categorías inferiores da su visión del nuevo realista. "Tiene una cosa que poseen muy pocos jugadores, y es que hace mejor a sus compañeros, y así lo va a hacer también en la Real. Recomendaría a los chavales de las categorías inferiores que se fijasen en los movimientos de David, porque son para estudiarlos. Se mueve muy bien entre líneas, tiene una magnífica visión de juego, un último pase privilegiado... Es verdad que no va a correr como antes, pero ya no le hace falta correr para saber lo que necesita hacer para el equipo en cualquier momento del partido", significa.

Oskitz cree, además, que el llegar con 34 años puede venirle bien a un equipo tan joven como la Real. "Es un jugador que llega con muchísima experiencia, tras haber pasado por equipos muy importantes y haber tenido grandes entrenadores, así que a la calidad que atesora puede añadir en su aportación al vestuario ese grado de experiencia", añade.
El que fuese delantero realista deslumbró en las categorías inferiores de la selección junto al recién fichado. "Coincidimos en la selección española sub 17, con la que fuimos subcampeones del mundo, siendo él uno de los más destacados, y luego en mi primera etapa en el Eibar, en donde, a pesar de tener 18 años, David era la pieza clave del equipo y demostró que ya sabía liderar un conjunto. Era su primera experiencia profesional y quedamos entre los cuatro primeros de la categoría", recuerda.
