Afirma que
Lautaro y Lukaku deberán sacrificarse.
Antonio Conte,
técnico del Inter de Milán, destacó el peso de la ausencia por lesión del
chileno Alexis Sánchez para las semifinales de la Liga Europa de este lunes
contra el Shakhtar Donetsk y consideró que se quedó "sin un elemento
fundamental".
"Por tres
cuartos de temporada Sánchez no ha estado disponible por lesión y
ahora nos estamos dando cuenta de que tipo de arma perdí. No contar con este
jugador, después de que había vuelto a niveles importantes, es algo que siento
mucho", afirmó Conte en la rueda de prensa previa al encuentro de
Düsseldorf.
"Me quedo
sin un elemento fundamental o desde el comienzo o para entrar en la
segunda mitad. Los dos delanteros (el belga Romelu Lukaku y el argentino
Lautaro Martínez) deberán sacrificarse. Seguro que Alexis nos habría
ayudado", agregó el técnico italiano.
Alexis se lesionó
en el bíceps femoral del muslo derecho en los cuartos de final contra
el Bayer Leverkusen y, además de no estar en el duelo de este lunes contra el
Shakhtar, tiene muy complicado llegar a la eventual final del 21 de agosto en
Colonia.
Conte manifestó
su profundo respeto por el trabajo del Shakhtar y le consideró como
el equipo más fuerte que le ha tocado hasta ahora en la Liga Europa, en la que
se vio las caras con el Ludogorets, el Getafe y el Leverkusen.
"El Shakhtar está
lleno de talento, son buenos en mantener siempre el nivel muy alto. Me acuerdo
de cuando me medí con el Shakhtar en la Liga de Campeones con el Juventus,
había jugadores fuertes, siempre los tuvieron y siguen teniéndoles.
Enhorabuena, logran encontrar talentos muy buenos", dijo.
"El Shakhtar
jugará con sus características, alternará presión alta y baja. Tienen una
identidad, tiene un alto nivel en Europa y creo que el gran mérito de (el
técnico portugués, Luis) Castro es convencer a muchos jugadores de talento para
que trabajen para el equipo", prosiguió.
Negó que tenga
miedo del equipo ucraniano y subrayó que el Inter llega preparado
bien a la cita.
"Miedo no
forma parte de mi vocabulario y no quiero que entre tampoco en el de mi
equipos. Tenemos muchísimo respeto por el Shakhtar, nos preparamos muy bien.
Ellos son el equipo mejor que nos tocó en este camino en la Liga Europa. Le
enfrentaremos con respeto, pero con ganas de demostrar que estamos aquí por una
razón y lo daremos todo para ir a la final", aseguró.
De ganar al
Shakhtar, el Inter, triple campeón de la Copa UEFA/Liga Europa (1991, 1994 y
1998), volvería a una final europea diez años después de la última vez, lo que
supondría a nivel personal para Conte la primera oportunidad de ganar un trofeo
internacional.
"Si ganara
un trofeo europeo estaría feliz por el club, no por mí. No pienso en
enriquecer mi palmarés, sino la del club que me contrata", dijo.
Conte estuvo
acompañado en la rueda de prensa por el esloveno Samir Handanovic, capitán
del equipo.
"Para llegar
a la final hay que hacer mejores partidos con respecto a los que hicimos hasta
ahora, el Shakhtar es el equipo más difícil con el que nos medimos en esta Liga
Europa. Como calidad es superior a otros y necesitaremos una prestación
mejor", contestó el meta esloveno a la única pregunta que recibió.
