Sevilla FC El mítico portero ensalza la labor de Bono y la defensa del Sevilla.
Dentro de la vorágine de emociones que ha supuesto el pase del Sevilla a unas nuevas semifinales de la Europa League y las innumerables ocasiones que sus aficionados, a muchos kilómetros de distancia, han disfrutado una y otra vez del tanto de Ocampos, se ha quedado en segundo plano el verdadero héroe de la noche de Duisburgo: Yassine Bounou.
El meta marroquí detuvo un penalti que habría cambiado el signo del partido a Raúl Jiménez, un verdadero especialista. Gracias a esa intervención, el Sevilla pudo madurar el partido y llevárselo en los minutos finales. Y todo esto con un portero que hasta hace poco era suplente y nadie pensaba ni siquiera en que pusiera continuar en Nervión. "Es cierto que se está imponiendo el sistema defensivo a una actuación individual, pero hay que resaltar que, sin mucho trabajo en los partidos, el que ha tenido lo ha resuelto de una manera excelente", reflexionaba el valenciano, sabedor de que con la actual defensa del Sevilla, tan poderosa, el trabajo del meta se complica porque debe estar siempre concentrado pese a no intervenir demasiado. "Además demostrando una confianza y seguridad máxima", añadía.
El futuro de Bono y Vaclik
Palop, quien capitaneó al Sevilla desde la portería para conseguir seis títulos, valora cómo puede ser la futura meta sevillista: "El portero lo que necesita es confianza y minutos. Tras la lesión de Vaclik, Bono los ha tenido y está demostrando su nivel. Creo que por el nivel que ha dado puede ser beneficioso para la portería del Sevilla. Que los dos partan desde cero y la competencia puede hacer crecer a los dos y al club en ese puesto".

La leyenda sevillista está siguiendo el caminar del club donde mayores éxitos acumuló desde la distancia y espera que el éxito del pasado se pueda volver a repetir con el actual equipo de Lopetegui. "Veo un partido muy igualado, ya que los dos llegan en un estado de forma muy bueno. Además de que los resultados a partir de confinamiento les han favorecido y han conseguido en sus respectivas ligas sus objetivos", razonaba . "A cada uno le marca su historia pero no veo un favorito claro... Diría que está al 50%", sentenció.
