Ya es
oficial: Ciro Immobile es el nuevo Bota de Oro. Tras su gol en el
último partido de liga frente al Napoles, el delantero italiano ha dejado la
cifra del máximo goleador europeo del año en 36 dianas. Cifra que le
hace igualar los 36 goles anotados por Higuaín en la temporada 2015-16, que
hasta el momento es el record de tantos marcados por un jugador en una
temporada completa en la Serie A.
Immobile se
convierte en el tercer jugador italiano en la historia que consigue el trofeo,
siendo Francesco Totti en la temporada 2006-07, su último compatriota
capaz de lograrlo.
Ciro se ha
impuesto finalmente a Lewandowski y Cristiano Ronaldo, que han
quedado en segundo y tercer lugar respectivamente, en una lucha que
ha sido trepidante en estas últimas jornadas que se han jugado tras el parón
provocado por el coronavirus.
Tras superar la
marca de Lewandowski el pasado miércoles con su gol al Brescia, Cristiano
Ronaldo se quedaba como único rival con opciones reales de poderle
arrebatar el título individual. Tarea arduo complicada, ya que el luso
necesitaba recortarle cuatro goles al delantero de la Lazio. Sin
embargo, Sarri no convocó a Cristiano para el último partido de liga,
de modo que Immobile se convirtió, matemáticamente, en Bota de
Oro antes de la disputa de la última jornada.
El delantero, que
pasó por las filas del Sevilla, ha acabado la temporada con 36 goles
anotados en los 36 partidos de liga que ha disputado. Una media de gol
por partido que supone la mejor temporada goleadora de su carrera
deportiva.
