Múnich le había igualado el pasado junio al proclamarse campeón de Alemania por
octava vez seguida, pero los ‘bianconeros’ recuperaron este domingo el cetro de
rey de Italia.
La Juventus se
coronó este domingo campeón de Italia por novena vez consecutiva, lo que supone
la racha de triunfos más larga de la historia de las cinco grandes ligas
europeas, la Premier League, La Liga, la Bundesliga y la Ligue 1, además de la
Serie A.
El Bayern Múnich

vez seguida, pero el Juventus recuperó este domingo el cetro de rey de Italia
gracias al triunfo 2-0 cosechado contra el Sampdoria.
El equipo de
Maurizio Sarri tiene siete puntos de ventaja sobre el Inter de Milán, segundo,
a falta de dos jornadas para el final, por lo que ya es inalcanzable.
La Juventus, que
ya dejó atrás en los últimos años los gloriosos ciclos ganadores del Real
Madrid, cinco veces campeón de España entre 1960 y 1964 y entre 1986 y 1990, y
del Lyon, que enlazó siete entre 2001 y 2008, sigue haciendo historia.
En el caso del
Madrid, el primer ciclo fue liderado por los goles del argentino Alfredo Di
Stéfano y el húngaro Ferenc Puskas mientras que su segunda racha fue empujada
por leyendas como el español Emilio Butragueño o el mexicano Hugo Sánchez.
La "Vecchia
Signora" ya luce 36 títulos en sus vitrinas y ha conseguido resistir año
tras año a las ambiciones de gloria de Roma, Nápoles o Inter de Milán, con el
equipo milanés que tiró de talonario este verano en el intento de alcanzar al
cuadro turinés.
Invirtió más de
60 millones por el belga Romelu Lukaku, fichado procedente del Manchester
United, y ofreció contratos millonarios al danés Chrstian Eriksen y el uruguayo
Diego Godín, llegado libre tras nueve años en el Atlético Madrid, además de
apostar por piezas de experiencia como el chileno Alexis Sánchez o el inglés
Ashley Young.
También fichó al
artífice de los primeros tres títulos ligueros de este ciclo de la Juventus, el
técnico Antonio Conte, que pese a un óptimo comienzo, no consiguió mantener a
sus jugadores al máximo hasta el final.
La Juve ya lleva
nueve títulos seguidos y sigue adelantando por un triunfo al Bayern Múnich
alemán, que se coronó este año por octava temporada consecutiva campeón de la
Bundesliga, con 34 goles del polaco Robert Lewandowski.
A nivel absoluto,
son el Lincoln, equipo de la liga de Gibraltar, y el Skonto, de la liga letona,
los que lograron las rachas de títulos ligueros más largas, al sumar 14 entre
2003 y 2016 y entre 1992 y 2004, respectivamente. El podio está completado por
el Rosenborg noruego, que se coronó doce veces consecutivas entre 1992 y 2004.
El de este año
fue un título trabajado por la Juventus, que por primera vez en nueve años se
corona campeón sin contar, al menos de momento, con la mejor defensa del
torneo. Nunca había recibido tantos goles (36), en sus anteriores triunfos con
Conte y Massimiliano Allegri.
Se midió con un
Lazio que, antes del parón sanitario, fue la gran revelación del torneo, si se
considera ya al Atalanta como uno de los nuevos grandes del fútbol italiano. El
equipo romano llegó al parón a un solo punto de distancia y con toda la inercia
a favor.
La Juventus no
jugaba bien y sufría mucho, mientras que el Lazio daba espectáculo y avanzaba
lanzado. Sin embargo, tras el parón el equipo capitalino se derritió y los
turineses, empujados por los goles de Cristiano Ronaldo y del argentino Paulo
Dybala se escaparon en la tabla hasta coronarse este domingo campeón de Italia
