El entrenador
de Gimnasia criticó duramente la designación de Maurio Macri como presidente de
la Fundación de la FIFA.
Diego Maradona,
actual entrenador de Gimnasia y Esgrima, hizo su reaparición pública y afirmó
que Gianni Infantino, máxima autoridad de la FIFA, le decepcionó al designar a
Mauricio Macri, ex presidente de Argentina y de Boca Juniors, como presidente
de la Fundación del organismo rector del futbol internacional.
"Hablé una
cosa con Infantino y me decepcionó. Yo veo que le dan un premio a Macri. ¿Un
premio a qué? Una patada en el culo hay que darle", sentenció el exastro
del fútbol mundial en una entrevista con el canal de televisión C5N.
“También
volvieron Platini (Michel), Blatter (Joseph), las aguas se calmaron y se
repartieron la plata entre ellos. Nadie devolvió nada. Así que yo renuncio a la
FIFA”, agregó el hoy técnico argentino, que en 2017 fue nombrado embajador del
organismo tras llegar un año antes Infantino a la presidencia.
Con respecto a
Mauricio Macri, Maradona enfatizó: "Hay un montón de amigos suyos que se
hicieron millonarios. Es simple, tiene que ir a la cárcel con todos sus
secuaces".

"En este
país ya teníamos una pandemia y los argentinos sabíamos que se nos venía una

nacional”, completó Maradona.
Esta semana, el
excampeón mundial en México 1986 se mudó a la ciudad de La Plata, donde
esperará la evolución de la pandemia del coronavirus para poder volver a los
entrenamientos al frente de Gimnasia y Esgrima cuando llegue la autorización
del Gobierno Argentino.
