Alavés El guardameta ya dejó claras sus intenciones de continuar con el club.
El conjunto albiazul continúa en plena construcción de su plantilla de cara a la próxima campaña, la temporada del centenario del glorioso. Uno de los jugadores que ha estado cedido este año en el conjunto gasteiztarra es Roberto Jiménez por parte del West Ham inglés con el que le resta una temporada más de contrato, un contrato que se espera que el cancerbero madrileño pueda finiquitar con los 'hammers' para seguir vistiendo la camiseta del Deportivo Alavés.
Además, dentro de su contrato con los gasteiztarras el guardameta madrileño cuenta con una claúsula para extender su vinculación con la entidad del paseo de Cervantes, y desde las oficinas del cuadro babazorro verían con buenos ojos la continuidad del portero. El madrileño ya dejó claro hace varias fechas sus intenciones. "El Deportivo Alavés me han tendido la mano desde el primer día y por eso es todo mucho más fácil, por eso creo que este es un gran sitio para poder estar, ser feliz y disfrutar de esto, para poder continuar con una buena carrera".
Toda esta situación está supeditada, en parte, a lo que suceda con los dos guardametas que cuentan con contrato en el cuadro albiazul, Fernando Pacheco y Antonio Sivera. El caso del extremeño es la misma situación de todos los mercados de fichajes, ya que todo hace indicar que contará con ofertas para salir del club, por lo que dependerá de la conveniencia o no de la mismas tanto para el jugador como para el propio Deportivo Alavés. Mientras el guardameta valenciano, Antonio Sivera, se encuentra inmerso en el play off de ascenso a primera división con el Almería, club en el que está cedido y en el caso de ascenso derivaría en el pago de 6 millones de euros para que el meta se quedase en propiedad en la entidad andaluza.
Roberto Jiménez ha tenido su oportunidad de demostrar su valía bajo los palos de la portería albiazul tras la expulsión de Fernando Pacheco en el primer choque liguero tras el confinamiento en Cornellá ante el Espanyol y la posterior lesión que han impedido al meta extremeño regresar a la portería gasteiztarra. El madrileño ha acumulado 789 minutos de juego en 9 encuentros ligueros siendo uno de los más destacados en el cuadro babazorro tanto con Asier Garitano como con Juan Ramón López Muñiz en el banquillo.

El Deportivo Alavés está buscando una salida en forma de cesión a Paulinode La Fuente, tras cumplir 23 años y no poder regresar al conjunto filial, uno de los jugadores de la cantera gasteiztarra que ha podido tener minutos en el primer equipo en el sprint final de liga. Cesión a la Liga SmartBank donde hasta tres equipos han mostrado su interés en poder contar con el futbolista la próxima campaña, para tener minutos de juego que le permitan continuar con su progresión y crecimiento.
Por su parte Abdallahi, el mediocentro de Mauritania continuará su progresión en el conjunto filial del Deportivo Alavés, pero entrenando con el primer equipo de manera asidua, como así lo ha hecho saber el propio club. Mientras que el lateral tinerfeño Javi López formará parte e la primera plantilla albiazul, como así estaba estipulado en su contrato con la entidad del paseo de Cervantes.
