Muy pocos
esperaban que el caso del City se iba a quedar en una multa.
Muchos de los
grandes y no tan grandes equipos de Europa ya no creen en el Fair Play
financiero. Es fácil sancionar a equipos turcos, griegos e incluso españoles,
con socios o accionistas anónimos detrás, antes que poner coto a la actuación
de los equipos estados. Primero fue con el PSG y ahora con el Manchester
City.
La sensación que
queda es que el deporte necesita el dinero de determinados países y
que pueden hacer lo que quieran, mientras otros están sujetos a todo tipo de
reglas.
Es más, dejaron
de creer hacer tres años. Primero porque la UEFA pasó por alto aquello de que
en un mismo verano el PSG fichara a Neymar y Mbappé(encubierto con una
cesión) y segundo cuando el TAS tumbó la investigación abierta al equipo
parisino al considerar que la UEFA no podía reabrir un caso ya juzgado en su
día.
Lo que ha
sucedido con el caso sentenciado por el TAS en la mañana del lunes, demuestra
que el Fair play financiero tiene que cambiar. Están obligados a hacerlo.
No hay otro remedio. Muy pocos esperaban que el caso del City se iba a quedar
en una multa por no colaborar en las investigaciones.
El veredicto ha
supuesto un palo en la moral de todos aquellos equipos que intentan
cumplir con las obligaciones, las mismas que otros, bien por llegar tarde las
investigaciones o bien por negligencias, se saltan sin rubor alguno.
Los clubes
reclaman que la justicia deportiva sea para todos igual y es algo que
no parece ser así. Ahora la UEFA está obligada a demostrar que puede volver a
ser creíble un sistema que hace tres años saltó por los aires.
