ponerse en punto? Empieza la rosca...
Era esperable y
hasta previsible: así como Europa fue el faro que guió a Sudamérica en el
inicio de la pandemia a la hora de tomar medidas de prevención, también ahora
lo es en el proceso de salida de la cuarentena. Todos los países miran al otro lado
del Océano Atlántico para ver qué hacen y, más importante, cómo lo hacen.
Protocolos, medidas sanitarias... Todo, o casi todo, emula al Viejo Continente.
Y es por eso que ni bien la UEFA anunció las fechas para el retorno de la
Champions y la Europa League, en CONMEBOL sabían que no podían quedarse atrás.
Las copas Libertadores y la Sudamericana volverán en septiembre y, mientras
varios países de Sudamérica avanzan y tienen definido cuándo volverán sus
ligas, en Argentina todavía no hay noticas sobre posibles fechas tentativas
para retornar a los entrenamientos. Y la preocupación empieza a escalar.
El Gobierno
Nacional todavía no dio señales de cuándo podría volver el fútbol. Ni Ginés
González García, ministro de salud, ni Matías Lammens, expresidente de San
Lorenzo y actual ministro de deportes y turismo, se animaron en algún momento a
aventurar una fecha. Desde la AFA recién terminaron de darle forma a un
protocolo para el regreso a las prácticas hace unos pocos días, que espera por
la aprobación. Pero del inicio de la flamante Liga Profesional, todavía nada.
Los clubes, entre tanto, sueñan con volver a los predios a principios de
agosto, pero, por ahora, nada prospera y el tiempo apremia.
"Como
mínimo, los jugadores van a necesitar un mes de preparación", advertía
Sergio Chiarelli, preparador físico del cuerpo técnico de Gustavo Alfaro, a
Goal a principios de junio. El tiempo estimado por el especialista preveía la
competencia de un partido por semana y no la doble competencia. Y hay más: en caso
de que las copas inicien en septiembre, lo harían a la par del torneo, con lo
cual no habría siquiera un tiempo de adaptación. De cero a cien en un mes.
En Viamonte creen
que podrán lograr que desde Luque se les permita a los equipos argentinos
arrancar la competencia un tiempo más tarde. Hasta ahora, el único margen
conseguido es hasta el 17 de septiembre, solo dos días. No es solo una cuestión
de ventaja deportiva, sino de salud de los protagonistas. Los 30 días
propuestos por Chiarelli suenan optimistas: varias voces se alzan en privado y
piden que haya el doble de tiempo de preparación. Eso, a esta altura, ya es
imposible, salvo que empiezan a moverse ya.
