ningún futbolista de los que no han jugado cinco partidos se quede sin el
trofeo.
Un equipo es un
equipo. O todos o ninguno. Así lo entiende Jürgen Klopp, entrenador del
Liverpool. Y por eso ha asegurado que está dispuesto a regalar su medalla
de campeón de la Premier League para que ninguno de los jugadores que han
participado a lo largo de la temporada, aunque sea en menor proporción, se
quede sin ella.
Sucede que los
futbolistas sólo tienen garantizado su galardón si hacen un mínimo de
cinco apariciones a lo largo de la campaña, algo con lo que no está de
acuerdo el míster de los 'reds' para el que todos son importantes en la
consecución del título.
"Incluso si
has jugado un encuentro, deberías tener una medalla. Si la gente no
entiende lo importante que es un equipo para ganar un campeonato...",
aseguraba el entrenador.

Porque entrenas millones de veces durante un año y si no lo haces al más alto
nivel, no tienes oportunidad de ganar un campeonato", continuaba Klopp.

Algunos de los
jóvenes del Liverpool, que no han participado mucho, podrían, según esta norma,
quedarse sin medalla. Pero Klopp no lo va a permitir. "Estos chicos
obtendrán una medalla al 100%. Pueden tener mi medalla", dijo el técnico,
que reconoció que esa no es la solución, sino que la Premier debería cambiar
esa norma de los cinco encuentros.
