Theuerkauf y un tanto de Augustinsson permitieron al histórico club salvarse
gracias al doble valor de las ‘dianas’ en campo contrario.
El Heindenheim
se quedó sin su primer ascenso pese a no haber perdido ni en la ida ni en la
vuelta de la promoción.
El Werder Bremen,
un gran símbolo del fútbol alemán, seguirá en la Bundesliga. El equipo de
Florian Kohfeldt se complicó la vida al no pasar del 0-0 en la ida de la
promoción de descenso contra el Heindenheim y también sufrió en la vuelta, pero
un autogol de Norman Theuerkauf en el minuto 3 y un tanto de Ludwig
Augustinsson en el descuento le permitieron evitar el descenso a costa del
Heindenheim (2-2). El doble valor de los tantos en campo contrario salvó al
Bremen.
No pudo empezar
mejor la vuelta para el Werder Bremen, porque, a pesar de que el Heindenheim
tuvo varias ocasiones al principio de la segunda parte, el tercer clasificado
de la Segunda de Alemania tardó mucho en sobreponerse al golpe del tanto en
propia meta.
También el Werder
Bremen tuvo oportunidades, como las de Ludwig Augustinsson y Maximilian
Eggestein, pero el portero del Heindenheim, Kevin Müller, llevó a cabo una
buena actuación.
El equipo
cofundador de la Bundesliga en 1963, rival del Bayern por la hegemonía del
fútbol alemán entre 1980 y 2010, se complicó la vida cuando Tim Kleindienst
empató en el 85’ al aprovechar un rechace.
Al Werder Bremen
le tocó sufrir hasta el final, pero el Heindenheim, que nunca ha jugado en la
Bundesliga, no pudo culminar su gesta. Augustinsson, viniendo en carrera y tras
una gran asistencia de Bartels, marcó el 1-2 en el 94’’. De penalti niveló
Kleindienst.
