El contagio se
detectó en la última ronda de tests llevados a cabo entre jugadores, técnicos y
empleados de los clubs.
La cifra de
positivos alcanza los 18 desde que se empezaron a realizar los tests.
La Premier League
anunció este lunes que se ha producido un positivo más en la última ronda de
tests del coronavirus llevada a cabo entre el miércoles 17 y el domingo 21 de
junio. No fue desvelada la identidad de la persona contagiada.
Desde que las
pruebas masivas de cara al regreso de la Premier empezaron el pasado mes de
mayo, en total son 18 los positivos que se han producido entre jugadores,
entrenadores o empleados de los clubs. La Premier se reanudó el 17 de junio
tras permanecer suspendida desde el 13 de marzo debido a la pandemia del
coronavirus.
La Premier
anunció que “entre el miércoles 17 y el domingo 21 se llevaron a cabo 1.829
pruebas entre jugadores, entrenadores y miembros del club, y una persona dio
positivo”. Desde que los jugadores volvieron a entrenar el pasado mes de mayo,
han sido sometidos a dos tests cada semana. Desde el 17 de mayo, 10 rondas de
pruebas se han llevado a cabo.
