Betis Las próximas jornadas definirán su verdadero objetivo.
Una vez completados los últimos partidos pendientes de la 29ª jornada de LaLiga Santander y pocas horas antes de que arranque la 30ª fecha del calendario, el Betis se encuentra en tierra de nadie en la clasificación. Situado en la 14ª posición está prácticamente a la misma distancia de los puestos que dan acceso a las competiciones europeas que de los que descienden a Segunda división.
La desventaja respecto a la séptima plaza, última que otorga una plaza en las rondas previas de la UEFA Europa League tras la renuncia de Athletic y Real Sociedad a disputar la final de la Copa del Rey sin publico en las gradas, es de 10 puntos. Ocupa el puesto el Villarreal, equipo al que los verdiblancos aún deben enfrentarse en el Benito Villamarín.
El empate del pasado lunes frente al Granada ha servido a los de Rubi para mantenerse a la misma distancia de Europa, recortándole un punto al Valencia, ahora a nueve de distancia, pero añadiendo nuevos rivales a la pelea, como el conjunto castellonense, el propio Granada o el Athletic Club, rival del equipo de Rubi mañana en San Mamés.
