El Cruz Azul
mexicano anunció este martes que un jugador del primer equipo dio positivo a la
COVID-19, además de que hay un miembro del club con estatus sospechoso que se
confirmará o descartará en los próximos días.
"De 50
pruebas (realizadas a jugadores, cuerpo técnico y staff de viaje) se detectó un
jugador con resultado positivo y es asintomático; otra prueba arrojó un
resultado inconcluso -sólo se detectó uno de los tres genes del virus- y se
realizará un nuevo estudio del que se tendrán resultados en los próximos
días", explicó la entidad capitalina.
El equipo que
juega en el estadio Azteca agregó que los involucrados se encuentran aislados y
siguiendo los protocolos de la Liga Mx y las autoridades sanitarias mexicanas.
"La
Máquina", como es conocido el Cruz Azul, regresó a los entrenamientos este
lunes después de que los jugadores se hicieron pruebas para descartar contagios
del nuevo coronavirus.
Entre los que
volvieron a practicar en una cancha después de más de dos meses, se encontraron
el uruguayo Jonathan Rodríguez, quien al momento de la cancelación del Clausura
2020 lideró a la tabla de goleadores con nueve dianas.
El Cruz Azul no
capitalizó con un título su primer puesto en la clasificación del Clausura
2020, debido a que la Asamblea de la Liga Mx suspendió el campeonato.
A parte del
positivo del equipo con sede en Ciudad de México, el balompié del país cuenta
con más de 30 contagiados de coronavirus entre los que están 15 en el Santos
Laguna, que incluyen al entrenador uruguayo Guillermo Almada y el guardameta
Jonathan Orozco.
También hay siete
en el Toluca, dos en los Pumas del español Miguel González 'Míchel', otro par
en el León y uno en el Monterrey, el goleador argentino Rogelio Funes Mori.
El Guadalajara,
Mazatlán y el Necaxa acumulan uno cada uno.
Más de una decena
de los clubes reanudaron entrenamientos en sus instalaciones el lunes como
