El delantero
inglés ha aprovechado los meses de suspensión por el coronavirus para
recuperarse de su lesión y podrá ayudar a su equipo en el tramo final de la
competición.
No hay mal que
por bien no venga. Este dicho explica a la perfección la situación que ha
vivido el Tottenham con Harry Kane. El delantero inglés se lesionó en los
isquiotibiales el pasado 31 de diciembre y todo hacía pensar que no volvería a
participar esta temporada, sin embargo la suspensión de la competición por
culpa del coronavirus ha propiciado que el futbolista haya podido recuperarse y
esté listo para ayudar al equipo en el tramo final de la temporada.
“Se ve
completamente en forma, muy en forma, así que vamos a ver al viejo Kane
nuevamente”, dijo el defensor de los ‘spurs’, Toby Alderweireld. “Ha estado
fuera por un período más largo, por lo que su deseo de lucir ante todos es
increíble. Vamos a ver a un Kane muy bueno”, agregó el belga.
Las esperanzas
del Tottanham se vinieron abajo con la lesión de Kane, a la que también se unió
la de Heung-min Son. Sin pólvora arriba, los ‘spurs’ quedaron eliminados de la
Champions en octavos a manos del RB Leipzig por un global de 4-0.
En la Premier, el
equipo de Mourinho lucha por entrar en Europa. Ocupan la octava plaza a siete
puntos del Chelsea, el cuarto clasificado y el último de la zona Champions.
La vuelta de
Kane, a la que también se sumarán las de Son y Sissoko, lesionado de los
ligamentos cruzados de su rodilla, significa que Mourinho podrá volver a contar
con casi todo el potencial de su plantilla para pelear con garantías por los
objetivos del equipo londinense.
“Hemos
tenido tiempo para trabajar especialmente tácticamente, porque el técnico entró
a mitad de la temporada y no había tiempo para trabajar”, dijo Alderweireld.
“Mucho de esto es táctico. Más en detalle. Al principio, era más las cosas
importantes, cómo queremos presionar, pero ahora está más en los detalles.
Hemos trabajado más en el detalle de lo que cada puesto necesita y lo que
debemos hacer como equipo en diferentes sistemas. Hemos tenido más tiempo”,
comentó el central belga.
