En las últimas
horas, las autoridades del certamen inglés comunicaron dos nuevos positivos de
COVID-19.
El próximo
miércoles se reanudará la actividad en el marco de la presente temporada de la
Premier League de Inglaterra, certamen que tiene a Liverpool como cómodo líder.
El esférico
volverá a rodar con dos encuentros: en primera instancia, Aston Villa recibirá
a Sheffield United, mientras que, luego, Manchester City se topará con Arsenal.
Sin embargo, en
las últimas horas hubo malas noticias: las autoridades de la Premier League
comunicaron que se confirmaron dos nuevos casos de coronavirus.
Si bien no se
confirmó su identidad, uno de los positivos de COVID-19 fue reconocido por
Norwich City. En tanto, el restante permaneció en estado anónimo.
A su vez, Norwich
aseguró que todos sus jugadores se encuentran sanos, ya que el caso detectado
nunca estuvo en contacto con los demás integrantes del plantel.
Estos dos nuevos
casos se produjeron luego de los 1.200 controles que la Premier League llevó
adelante entre el jueves 11 y el viernes 12 de junio.
Hasta la fecha,
la Premier League lleva detectados 16 casos positivos de coronavirus luego de
haber llevado a cabo 8.867 pruebas.
