se alegra de que deje de ser socio el aficionado que devolvió su carnet con el
argumento de que no se puede identificar más con el club porque considera que
hay "demasiados negros" en el equipo.
"Desde hace
meses que ya no me puedo identificar con este club. He empezado a tener la
sensación de que se está jugando la Copa de África y no la Bundesliga
alemana", dice el socio en su mensaje, que el club ha hecho público al
igual que la respuesta.
El Mainz calificó
la argumentación de inaceptable y dijo que, aunque normalmente lucha por cada
socio, en el caso actual está lejos de lamentar que alguien así se separe de la
entidad.

del club
"Para
nosotros solo cuenta que alguien comparta nuestros valores. A la gente que los
comparte la recibimos en nuestra comunidad. Por ellos no alegramos de que usted
deje de ser socio puesto que no comparte los valores básicos del club",
dice el Mainz en su respuesta.
El club recordó
además que en sus estatutos dice expresamente que el Mainz ofrece a niños,
jóvenes y adultos una patria deportiva sin importar el género, el origen, el
color de la piel, las creencias religiosas, la posición social ni la
orientación sexual.
El aficionado
dice no ser racista
En su
argumentación el socio aseguraba no ser racista pero que no le parecía bien que
en la alineación del Mainz hubiese en ocasiones hasta nueve jugadores negros.
"El racismo
no empieza cuando alguien se define como racista, lo que normalmente no hace
nadie, sino cuando alguien expresa puntos de vista racistas", respondió el
Mainz.
