los veinte clubes participantes.
La liga peruana
de fútbol se plantea regresar el 31 de julio, fecha propuesta por la Federación
Peruana de Fútbol (FPF) en una reunión mantenida este lunes con los veinte
clubes participantes para acordar la hoja de ruta que permitirá reanudar el
campeonato.
En esa
videoconferencia, la FPF entregó a los clubes los protocolos aprobados por las
autoridades con las distintas fases que los equipos deberán cumplir para
retomar paulatinamente la actividad y prevenir los contagios de COVID-19 entre
sus jugadores.
El protocolo
diseñado es similar al seguido por la liga alemana o la española. Así, los
jugadores comenzarán a entrenarse de manera individual, luego lo harán en
pequeños grupos y finalmente se ejercitará todo el colectivo junto.
Antes del regreso
a los entrenamientos, los futbolistas deberán pasar pruebas moleculares (PCR)
de descarte de la COVID-19 y el mismo día del primer entrenamiento otra prueba rápida.
Los jugadores que den positivo deberán pasar un examen clínico completo y
quedarse aislados hasta recuperarse.
La principal
novedad respecto a otros países es que todos los partidos se disputarán de
manera centralizada en Lima para evitar los constantes desplazamientos que los
equipos realizarían en circunstancias normales.
La liga peruana
fue suspendida a mediados de marzo cuando se decretó la cuarentena general y
obligatoria. Hasta entonces se habían jugado apenas seis jornadas del Torneo
Apertura.
La idea es
disputar el resto de las trece fechas restantes del Apertura y después jugar el
Clausura con un formato distinto, ya que los 20 equipos se dividirán en 2
grupos de 10. Los primeros equipos de cada grupo jugarán una final para decidir
al campeón.
Para definir al
campeón de la liga se realizarán unas eliminatorias por el título con
semifinales y final donde participarán los campeones del Apertura y el Clausura
y los otros dos equipos con más puntos en la clasificación acumulada de la
temporada.
Estos cuatro
equipos obtendrán un cupo cada uno para jugar la próxima edición de la Copa
Libertadores, mientras que los siguientes equipos mejor clasificados en la
tabla acumulada acudirán a la Copa Sudamericana.
Asimismo,
descenderán los cuatro últimos clubes si logra celebrarse la segunda división y
la Copa Perú. En caso de que ninguna de ellas pueda disputarse, solo
descenderán dos equipos, lo que hará que la primera división vuelva a tener 18
equipos y ya no 20 como este año.
En total se
jugarán 224 partidos, comprendidos entre los 221 de las 23 jornadas pendientes
por disputarse y los tres de las eliminatorias finales por el título nacional.
