
Se realizarán
720 pruebas de COVID-19 y se estima que finalicen el próximo 17 de junio.
La Asociación
Uruguaya de Fútbol (AUF) inició este domingo la primera fase del protocolo de
regreso del fútbol profesional con los test a los jugadores de los clubes
Boston River y Cerro.
Según un comunicado
de este organismo, se completaron las gestiones para dar inicio a 720 test de
COVID-19 que se aplicarán a los clubes profesionales y que se estima que
finalicen el próximo 17 de junio.
El entrenador y
jugador del Boston River, Sebastián 'Loco' Abreu, destacó a la prensa durante
su llegada al estadio Centenario, lugar designado para las pruebas, la
importancia de, además de los test, continuar con las medidas de seguridad.
"Sabemos que
ya estamos cerca del reinicio de las actividades, las planificaciones y, sobre
todas las cosas, a poder encauzar este tema de poder volver a jugar con todos
los cuidados necesarios, pero ya sabiendo de que tenemos fechas y de que a
partir de ahí ya te puedes preparar", expresó.
Agregó que desde
su club se ha tratado de cumplir con todas las normas recomendadas por las
autoridades de la salud de este país y que no se escatimó en los esfuerzos y
detalles para "no tener ningún inconveniente".
"Tratamos de
usar todas las posibilidades, la tecnología, la parte motivacional, el contacto
humano, el ver cómo están los jugadores, preocuparnos más por la persona y no
tanto por el futbolista", apuntó.
Abreu, que aun
mantiene vigente su récord mundial como el jugador que más camisetas ha
defendido durante su carrera, valoró que su equipo tendrá esta etapa de
reacondicionamiento para "ir viendo" cómo se encuentra cada jugador e
"ir equilibrando las cargas", y remarcó "la tranquilidad"
de que "todos estuvieron bien" durante la cuarentena.
La AUF también
destacó que, además de los jugadores, los test de COVID-19 se harán a cuerpos
técnicos y funcionarios de los clubes que participan actualmente en las ligas
profesionales.
Nacional,
Wanderers, Defensor Sporting y Montevideo City Torque harán los test de forma
particular.
Según los
previsto, Danubio y Fénix serán testeados este lunes, Liverpool y Peñarol, el
martes 9; Progreso y Rentistas, miércoles 10; River Plate y Albión, el jueves
11; Central y Cerrito, el viernes 12; IASA y Juventud, el lunes 15; Racing y
Rampla Juniors, el martes 16; y Villa Española y Villa Teresa, el miércoles 17
de junio.
