Cristiano Ronaldo
se ha convertido en el primer futbolista en alcanzar los mil millones de
dólares en ganancias durante su carrera, gracias a los 105 (88.5 M€) de
ingresos, antes de impuestos, que obtuvo en 2019, según la revista Forbes. Eso
le coloca en la cuarta posición entre las personalidades que más dinero ganaron
el año pasado, sólo por detrás de la empresaria y modelo Kylie Jenner, el
rapero Kanye West y el tenista Roger Federer.
Cristiano es el
deportista atleta en activo en superar la marca de los mil millones de dólares
tras el golfista Tiger Woods (lo alcanzó en 2009) y el boxeador Floyd
Mayweather, gracias a su pelea contra Conor McGregor en 2017. El ex jugador de
baloncesto Michael Jordan también forma parte del clan multimillonario (su
fortuna se estima en 2.000 millones de dólares), gracias sobre todo al éxito de
su marca Jordan, gestionada con Nike desde el final de su carrera.
Cristiano es el
jugador que ha ganado más dinero procedente únicamente del fútbol, tras una
carrera de 17 años. Se estima que ha percibido 650 millones de dólares, por los
605 de Messi. Forbes señala que su enorme competencia les ayudó a alcanzar
estas cifras.
Cristiano recibe
más de 20 millones de dólares al año de Nike, pero también tiene firmados
contratos con Herbalife Nutrition, American Tourister, Dazn, Altice, Clear o
Sixpad. Además, rentabiliza su propia marca de ropa, su perfume, una clínica de
trasplante capilar en Madrid y varios hoteles en colaboración con el grupo
portugués Pestana.
Su imperio se
extiende a las redes sociales. Ayudado por la expansión de Facebook, Instagram
o Snapchat en los últimos años, también se ha convertido en la personalidad más
