Este miércoles
se reanuda la liga portuguesa con dos partidos: Portimonense-Gil Vicente y
Famalicao-Oporto. El Benfica juega el jueves.
Primero fue la
Bundesliga y ahora la Primeira NOS. La portuguesa será la segunda gran liga
europea (la sexta según el coeficiente UEFA) que vuelve a escena tras sufrir un
parón de más de dos meses por la pandemia del COVID-19. Y lo hace con la
aprobación general de todos los actores involucrados tanto a nivel deportivo,
como político y comunicativo; en pocos lugares del continente los acuerdos
fueron tan rápidos y las medidas de seguridad tan aplaudidas.
El pasado 5 de
mayo la federación portuguesa, junto a la organización de la Liga NOS y el
Gobierno de Portugal, acordó que el fútbol sólo volvería para disputar la final
de la Taça de Plata entre Benfica y Oporto (la fecha está por concretarse) y
las once jornadas que quedan de la Primera División lusa. El resto de
competiciones quedaron canceladas y los ascensos y descensos se regirán según
la clasificación en el momento del parón. Por ello, ya se sabe que la temporada
que viene el CD Nacional y el Farense Algarve jugarán en la Liga NOS. Además,
se acordó que todos los estadios debían recibir el visto bueno de la Dirección
General de Salud para acoger los partidos: lo lograron 15 de las 18 sedes,
todas menos las de Moreirense, Santa Clara y Belenenses, que disputarán sus
partidos en la Ciudad de Fútbol de Lisboa, lugar de concentración habitual de
la selección portuguesa. Todo esto ha sido acogido con buen agrado por todos
los estamentos implicados y apenas ha habido voces críticas con respecto a las
decisiones que se han tomado para reanudar el fútbol.
Pero volvamos al
día de hoy. El pistoletazo de salida lo dará a las 20:00 horas el
Portimonense-Gil Vicente en un partido en el que los locales se juegan media
vida si quieren seguir luchando por la salvación, que tienen a seis puntos.
Pero las miradas estarán sobre todo en el otro encuentro del día:
Famaliçao-Oporto. Los dragones, líderes de la Liga NOS, vuelven a la
competición ante el que fue, hasta el parón, el equipo revelación de Portugal,
un recién ascendido que estuvo en puestos europeos durante casi toda la primera
vuelta. El equipo de Casillas, que sigue como enlace entre jugadores y
directiva aunque no volverá a los terrenos de juego esta temporada
(probablemente nunca más se vista de corto), está un punto por encima de su
gran rival histórico, el Benfica, con el que le espera una lucha apasionante
por el título en las once jornadas que quedan. Ambos ya se han enfrentado entre
sí por lo que no habrá duelo directo por la lucha del campeonato, aunque sí lo
habrá en la final de la Copa. Las águilas, por su parte, regresan mañana ante
el Tondela que preside el español Luis Belenguer, ex del Betis y Getafe, entre
otros.
De llegar Oporto
y Benfica en una sitación similar a la jornada 34, la Liga NOS tendrá un final
de infarto. El conjunto lisboeta se enfrenta en ella a su enemigo local, el
Sporting de Portugal, mientras que el Oporto se verá las caras con el Sporting
Braga, tercer clasificado que ya ganó la Taça de la Liga en febrero y en el que
brilla por encima de todos Trincao, fichado por el Barcelona en invierno.
